For sponsors

One contract. One project manager. PET imaging, handled.

Amavita Research is a clinical trial site and PET imaging trial partner. Our North Miami Beach site runs cardiovascular trials — 7 active, GCSA-certified through February 2027. For trials across therapeutic areas where PET imaging drives eligibility and endpoints, we contract as the prime imaging-trial partner, with PET delivered through our qualified imaging network.

Sponsors running PET-centric trials usually face a fragmented model: a CRO for operations, a separate imaging vendor for acquisition, another for reads, and the site caught in the middle. Every handoff adds startup time, QC risk, and finger-pointing when timelines slip.

Amavita's partnership model collapses that stack. We contract as prime: one clinical trial agreement, one project manager, one PI team. Feasibility, budget, imaging charter adherence, tracer coordination, DICOM transfer and QC, and monitor access run through a single accountable owner. PET imaging executes through our qualified imaging network — PET/CT, F-18/N-13 tracer capability, GCP and 21 CFR Part 11 controls.

The model rests on two pillars. Pillar one is our cardiovascular site in North Miami Beach: 7 active trials, GCSA-certified through February 2027, a PI team led by Dr. William W. O'Neill, an on-site cardiovascular ambulatory surgical center, and a last program that went from CTA to first-patient-in in 41 days. Pillar two is our PET imaging trial partnerships across therapeutic areas — oncology and neurology programs where molecular imaging is the trial.

Sponsor consultations are owned by Nereisy Alonso, our COO: feasibility, budget, contracts, and operational follow-through from one contact with same-business-day response.

  • PSMA PET (Ga-68/F-18), FAPI PET, FDG PET/CT
  • Radioligand therapy trials — Ac-225 and Lu-177 class, with dosimetry imaging
  • Eligibility-gated imaging and PET-driven response assessment

Neurology programs

  • Amyloid PET, tau PET (F-18 class), alpha-synuclein PET
  • Neuroinflammation (TSPO) PET for pharmacodynamic readouts
  • Longitudinal imaging endpoints with tight visit-window control

Operating facts

  • 7 active trials at the North Miami Beach cardiovascular site
  • GCSA-certified through February 2027; zero FDA Form 483 findings to date
  • Last program: CTA to first-patient-in in 41 days

Frequently asked questions

What is a prime imaging-trial partner?

A single accountable contractor for the imaging-driven parts of your trial. Amavita signs the CTA, manages the project, coordinates the imaging network, and delivers reads and data — so your team manages one relationship instead of an imaging vendor stack.

Is Amavita a CRO?

No. Amavita Research is a clinical trial site and PET imaging trial partner — not a CRO. Our North Miami Beach site runs cardiovascular trials directly, and we contract as prime for PET imaging workstreams across therapeutic areas.

Do you enroll oncology or neurology patients at your Miami site?

No. Our North Miami Beach site enrolls cardiovascular trials. For oncology and neurology PET trials, Amavita serves as the prime imaging-trial partner — owning the sponsor contract, project management, and imaging coordination.

Who do we talk to about feasibility?

Nereisy Alonso, COO. She owns all sponsor consultations — feasibility, budget, contracts, and operational follow-through — with same-business-day response.

What quality framework backs the imaging work?

GCSA certification through February 2027, GCP and 21 CFR Part 11 controls on imaging data, imaging charter adherence, and zero FDA Form 483 findings to date.
