Orlando Ortega-Izquierdo, APRN, is a Sub-Investigator at Amavita Research. He is a Florida-licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN #9442363) and Family Nurse Practitioner who earned his FNP from the Universidad de Turabo (Puerto Rico) in 2018 with a 3.92 GPA. He has been a Florida-licensed Registered Nurse since 2016.

He works closely with Dr. Pedro Martinez-Clark on Amavita's interventional cardiovascular protocols, supporting cath-lab study conduct, procedural-visit coordination, post-procedure follow-up, patient screening, and informed consent across the active trial portfolio.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, he conducts subject and family interviews directly with patients during screening, consent, and follow-up visits.
