Therapeutic Area
Neurology and cerebrovascular studies
Sponsor-facing capability for stroke prevention, cerebrovascular disease, cognitive disorders, and other neurology protocols at Amavita Research in Miami.
Neurology is an area Amavita Research is expanding into through affiliated investigators. A board-certified vascular neurologist and a board-certified neurologist are joining our investigator network, working alongside our cardiovascular investigators, so stroke prevention, cerebrovascular, cognitive-disorder, and other neurology protocols can use the same site operations, coordinators, regulatory, and quality systems already running our cardiovascular trials. Heart-brain protocols such as atrial fibrillation-related stroke prevention and cardioembolic stroke fit naturally with our cardiology and electrophysiology capability.
Protocol areas covered
- Stroke prevention and secondary prevention
- Cerebrovascular disease
- Atrial fibrillation-related and cardioembolic stroke
- Cognitive disorders, including Alzheimer's disease
- General neurology protocols
